French President told to stop throwing his “toys out of the pram” by former adviser.

There are calls for France’s President Emmanuel Macron to put aside his resentment of Brexit and accept the need to include the UK in measures to end Europe’s migration crisis.

Because of a perceived lack of effort by French border guards to stop migrants from trying to cross the Channel into Britain, France and Great Britain have been at odds for months.

Due to Boris Johnson’s release of an open letter to Emmanuel Macron outlining his suggestions for dealing with the migrant problem, Priti Patel was not invited to Sunday’s meeting with her counterparts from France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

Clair Pearsall, a former special adviser to the president, slammed Macron for his behaviour and urged him to stop “throwing toys out of the pram.”
