In protest against the hated protocol deal in Northern Ireland, stern words have been dealt to Dublin by Unionist campaigners.
One of the campaigners, Jamie Bryson, on Friday night, during an event in Ballymoney, told Dublin that they “should keep their covetous nose out of the internal affairs of our country”.
The rally condemned the Northern Ireland Protocol. In Mr Bryson’s speech, he urged Stormont to “take a lesson from 1912, loyalty goes both ways”.
Continuing to say: “As for the Irish Government, keep your covetous nose out of the internal affairs of our country.”
“You are neither wanted nor welcome in this sovereign British territory.”
“This isn’t your country, and it’s about time you realised that.”
