Asylum application approvals rates in Britain have rocketed to the highest rate since 1990.

According to government officials, asylum seekers have been permitted to remain in the UK at a pace not seen in more than 30 years. A record 9,327 migrants have arrived in 2022, all entering by tiny boats, crossing the English Channel.

Asylum application approvals rates in Britain have rocketed to the highest rate since 1990.

Even though Brexit meant we left the EU Dublin accord, 75% of all first judgments on asylum claims were granted under Boris Johnson’s government over the last year. This is the highest acceptance rate since 1990.

Those seeking refuge in the UK that have broken border laws, crossed into the EU illegally, and then into Britain illegally to claim asylum have seen some of the highest approval rates: 98% for Syrians, 97% for Eritreans, 95% for Sudanese, 91% for Afghans, and 88% for Iranians.

Peter William Walsh, a migration expert, says, “The government has recognised three-quarters of asylum applications over the past year,” according to The Times.
