Angry elderly lady in Tiverton doesn’t hold back as she slams the PM: “one rule for them, and one rule for us – that man should be ashamed of himself”

In the aftermath of a vote of confidence being called this morning on Boris Johnson’s leadership, an angry elderly lady in Tiverton gives her reaction live on Sky News.

Angry elderly lady in Tiverton doesn’t hold back as she slams the PM: “one rule for them, and one rule for us – that man should be ashamed of himself”

When the lady was asked if she was angry with the PM, the lady said: “Very angry. I think the whole country is angry. One rule for them and one rule for us.”

“We had to abide by their rules, but he, he certainly didn’t abide by his rules and all those people that could not see their loved ones, you know, when they were passing away or seriously ill, but he could have one big jolly up, several big jolly ups at number 10 Downing Street. That man should be ashamed of himself.”

Though this anger was expressed, when asked who she would vote for in the coming by-election in Tiverton, the elderly lady said she doesn’t think it will go the conservative way, even though the area is a conservative area. She also said she wouldn’t be voting Labour as “there isn’t a decent one amongst them”.

In our News Links Live Vote, this anger is being expressed as 79% so far say they don’t have confidence in Boris Johnson’s leadership.

In an earlier post this afternoon, Nigel Farage said while he was out over the Jubilee weekend, he was told that it wasn’t the fact that Boris Johnson had a drink or broke rules that upset them, it was the blatant lies he told to cover up what he knowingly had done.
