The criminals had served more than 160 years in prison for offences such as child sex, providing Class-A substances, and facilitating illegal entry into the UK.
Yesterday, a charter flight deporting criminals departed from the United Kingdom to Romanian.
The Home Office has chartered 32 flights this year to remove foreign nationals who have committed significant criminal offences in the United Kingdom.
Among those deported to Romania is a guy who was sentenced to more than six years in prison for robbery and assault.
On the aircraft were three people who had been sentenced to a total of seven years in prison for people smuggling.
In the past few weeks, the Home Office has also deported a Lithuanian man who was found guilty of raping a child and a Polish person who was found guilty of bringing large amounts of cocaine into the UK.
Priti Patel, the Home Secretary, stated: “These individuals are responsible for some of the most appalling crimes, including child sex offences and violent crime.”
“They have violated both our laws and our values and left their victims with the scars of the crimes they committed.”
“The British public should be in no doubt of my determination to remove these criminals, to protect both their victims and to make the streets safer.”
190 foreign criminals were deported from the United Kingdom last month.
Two murderers, eight rapists, and fourteen other dangerous criminals were among those deported.
