Labour MP refuses to publicly back strike action by the workers at Felixstowe.

While Labour continues to hammer the Conservatives over their desire for wage rises that match inflation for employees, Labour MPs stay silent on their support for strike action. This comes after Labour leader Keir Starmer directed his PLP to stay away from picket lines.

On Sky News this morning, the Shadow Levelling Up Minister backed out of a direct response when asked whether he backed the Felixstowe strike. Instead of addressing the question, he danced around the houses. The classic spineless politician’s move. The video below tells the whole story.
