At a meeting in Blackpool today, the Irish PM said that he was struck by Rishi Sunak’s “pragmatic approach” to the problems surrounding the Northern Ireland Protocol. While the pro-EU Irish PM says that he “does not understate the challenges” ahead, he believes that the current sticking points will be resolved.
