GAME CHANGER – Reform UK leader, Richard Tice vows to challenge every Conservative seat at the next election.

Yesterday, the pro-Brexit Reform UK party said it will run a candidate against every Tory MP in the next election, ruling out an agreement with them.

Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party, which had decided not to run in Tory-held seats in the 2019 election, gave birth to Reform UK in 2021, assisting Boris Johnson in winning by a wide margin.

The “cast-iron guarantee” that it would run for every seat the next time puts PM Rishi Sunak under further pressure from the right.

Richard Tice, the new leader of the Reform Party after Nigel Farage stepped down in March 2021, delivered a speech yesterday to relaunch the party.

RICHARD TICE – LABOUR AND ‘CONSOCIALISTS’ OFFER “LOTS OF WARM WAFFLE”

He said that 600 candidates for Reform are already prepared to run for seats nationwide in 2024.

After deciding not to run in Tory-held seats in the 2019 election, Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party helped Boris Johnson win in a landslide in 2021.

Mr Tice warned supporters that the Conservatives’ high-tax plan had “broken Britain” and “literally wrecked our country.”

The Right-wing party’s backing may divide the vote, which would give Labour an opportunity to gain significant seats, which would worry the Conservatives.

Since Mr Sunak became prime minister, reform has seen an increase in the polls, rising from 3% to 8% in a recent poll.

Mr Tice stated that reform was “gaining momentum” and that the Conservatives were concerned.

However, they will probably feel comforted now that Mr Tice has said that Mr Farage won’t take over as party leader again since he is concentrating on his media career.
