Yesterday, Rishi Sunak made five promises to the British people about his top priority for stabilising the country.
All apart from one pledge, to cut inflation in half by the end of the year, had a deadline. Others, such as aiming to stop illegal migrant boats, appeared to be a promise of effort rather than truly toughening up on the problem.
Nadine Dorries, a personal friend of Boris Johnson, attacked Sunak and his promises for abandoning the previous PM’s pledges on social care, levelling up Britain, the online and social care bill, and EU legislation bonfire.
It seems Boris Johnsons legacy has been “washed down the drain,” and Sunaks socialist agenda continues with high taxes being a constant in his plan.
