The sick monster Gary Glitter (Paul Gadd) was released early from prison today. After serving eight of his sixteen-year sentence, his release terms state that he will be “closely monitored.”
The paedophile glam rock singer was jailed for a sixteen-year term in 2015 and placed in a low-security jail in Portland, Dorset. He was automatically released on Friday after serving just 8 years for sexually abusing very young girls in the UK and overseas in Vietnam. His victims were as young as 10 years old.
Talking about the release terms, an MoJ spokesman said: “Sex offenders like Paul Gadd are closely monitored by the police and Probation Service and face some of the strictest licence conditions including being fitted with a GPS tag. If the offender breaches these conditions at any point, they can go back behind bars.”
“We’ve already introduced tougher sentences for the worst offenders and ended the automatic halfway release for serious crimes.”
