The UK and French governments have reached an agreement to address the issue of illegal immigration, with UK PM Rishi Sunak and French President Emmanuel Macron leading the negotiations.
Under the deal, the UK has committed to paying nearly £500 million over the course of three years, with the funds going towards the establishment of a new detention center in France.
